Programme Information

The second part of the Congress will take place in the metropolitan city of Shanghai - the city that never sleeps. Shanghai is also host of the 2010 World Expo.

Thursday 27th May

Transfers to Guangzhou International Airport for participants returning home

Morning: Departure to airport and transfer by plane to Shanghai (2 hours).
Lunch: Arrival at the Grand Hyatt Hotel Bund in Shanghai.
Afternoon: Accompanied walking tours of the historic 'Bund' area of Shanghai.
Evening: Dinner cruise enjoying views of the world famous Shanghai sky line.

Friday 28th May

Visit to the World Expo 2010. With over 200 Country pavilions on show, showcasing everything from modern architecture to traditional culture; the Expo is China’s opportunity of presenting the new face of China to the world.

Lunch at the Expo

Evening: Discover Shanghai at night. Bilingual guides at hand to help you experience Shanghai. Choose from a series of pre selected top venues in the city.

Saturday 29th May

Morning: Discover the Yu Yuan Gardens, visit the ancient Jade Budha Temple, and explore the everyday life of Shanghai.

Lunch at the world famous Din Tai Fung restaurant

Afternoon: Discover the former 1930s French Concession and find time for a little souvenir shopping.

Evening: Farewell Dinner: Take a step back in time to the roaring 1930’s of Shanghai at the Yong Foo Elite Club set in the former British Embassy of Shanghai.

Sunday 30th May

Departures throughout the day to Shanghai Pudong International Airport for participants returning home.
